I know this might be a simple question but I have not been able to find my answer as of yet and thought I would throw it out there in hopes somebody knows the answer. In my SSMS (management studio) I get the 'Saving Auto Recovery Information' message when it is saving off the Auto Recovery Information which I do not have an issue with my issue is the frequency of this seems to set to every couple minutes and I want to set that to every 30min if possible.
Any help appreciated.

for SQL 2008, I know there's nothing in the GUI to help.
there's registry keys here which seem to allow you to enable it or disable it, but i don't remember seeing anything about adding a missing key to change the interval:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Shell\General\AutoRecover
AutoRecover Always Enabled
AutoRecover Enabled

Thanks appreciate the info it is getting very annoying and if I can't set the interval this way I can turn it off.
