My SSMS 2008 R2 has an irksome quirk. Every 10-15 minutes the query screen shifts down. I will be typing a line of code positioned in the middle of the screen and suddenly it will shift down to the bottom, just off the screen. Any ideas of how to curb this insolent behavior?

Interesting. This is the first time I have heard of this. What else is running on your system when this occurs?

I have lots of applications open: MS Mail 2010, MS Paint, Chrome, a text editor, etc... I see where you are going with this so I can try to turn some of those off, but it's a little hard while working.

I know this is a bit of a cheeky response, but ... you aren't using a laptop with a touchpad are you? 😉

No laptop, but I have been there and that can be frustrating.
Love the Magoo avatar. Haven't seen him in ages! :hehe:
