Gents,
I have a weird intermittent issue with an enterprise version of SS2014. When clicking or right clicking around SSMS will lock up and display the 'SSMS is busy - waiting for an internal operation to complete'. It is only specific to the server as when I connect using my local SSMS this doesn't happen. This was happening both pre and post SP1 install. There is nothing in the logs to point to an issue, and googling around hasn't really turned up anything, any ideas what this could be?

Not sure what it is, but I've heard of others having this issue. I haven't seen it myself, so I don't have much advice.

Ended up being an SSMS add-in I wasn't aware was installed, the context menu for it wasn't even showing up. Deleted it from 'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\SQL Server Management Studio\12.0\AddIns’ and no more issues.

Interesting. Which add in?
