SSMS from Express or Standard disk?

    As far as I can tell, if I install SSMS from a download of Express... It is the exact same version of SSMS as I would install from a disk of Standard or Ent. Is this correct? Basically, I just want to install SSMS on a client machine to access an existing SQL Server.

    The Express version is missing tools, like the index tuner. It's worth it to go find the disk to get the full version if you need those tools, but yeah the basics are all there.

    Thanks Jasmine. This is just for Customer Service and QA to do quick data checks, so should be good.
