Has anyone ever figured out how to control the size of new query window (MIDI environment) when they open? Each time I open a new connection the bloody window takes most of the real estate. I've been all through the [Tools] [Options] but there is nothing that granular. Perhaps that vssettings file or the reg?
Thank you.
Now if only I can turn off F4 to prevent that useless properties window from showing up modally ...

and F8 to hide the Object Explorer window. I am not aware of any settings to change the size of a query window

@Adiga - I agree, at times I miss the old 2K QA IDE; what a great, simple tool w/ the option to use EM, just a stripped-down power tool in the form of a text editor.
In general, one would thing (perhaps foolishly) that hitting a function key would have a toggle effect. Oh boogers, this is why all my open source & LAMP friends give me sh_t about being an M$ (salute to Tom C if you are out there) person.
At the same time M$'s tools are good, even great, compared to many of the others; its just the simple stuff that is missing ...
Then again, there is that darn ctrl-v/ctrl-c paste buffer issue that was introduced with the adoption of the .Net IDE when one fat-fingers, buffer used to stay in memory.
Grump, grump, apologies for polluting.
