SSMS crashing!

  Hi

  In one of my production servers iam not able to login to SSMS. The Login screen comes and when i click on connect the foll: error msg appears.

  "SQLWB - Sql Server Management Studio has encountered a problem and needs to close".

  I have checked this on the net and the solution seems to be to reinstall it.

  Any other solution to this issue? Is there any problem if i have to reinstall only client tools? Remeber this is on production.

  Hi

  Got the issue. A .Net related security update was the culprit.

  Have uninstalled the update.
