I feel kind of dumb even asking this, but what happened to CTL-N?
I used to be able to hit CTL-N to open a new query window with the same connection properties as the current active window, but it doesn't work in SSMS 2008. Am I missing something?

Just hit Ctrl-N in my SSMS 2008, opened a new query window for me
Ctrl-O opens the Open File window
Go into Tools -> Options -> Environment -> Keyboard
to see if you are using the Standard scheme or SQL Server 2000 scheme

Mine is set to standard, not 2000. Must be a setting though. When I did the install, I chose to import the 2005 settings. When I went to options/environment/keyboard and hit restore defaults, I saw no changes in that section, but now CTL-N works for a new window. Thanks for the guidance.
It also didn't display the shortcut key in the menu, since restoring defaults, it shows CTL-N in there now. not sure what the actual setting was, but restore defaults fixed it.
Thanks again
