Hi,
I've just migrated a DTS Packages from SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 - SSIS. The package runs on Server_A, and collects data from a data warehouse on Server_B. During testing it ran fine, but when I ran it from the SQL Agent Job it ran over 5 minutes and timed out. Can I increase the timeout interval for the query by setting the General Timeout option in the Connection Manger? This setting is currently set to 0 which I suspect is the default, but where does it decide to use 5 minutes?
If I can what units is this in? I assume seconds but I haven't found a difinitive answer.
If I can't increase it here, then where else would I increase it?
Cheers
