SSIS Stops working after SP1

  After applying SP1 to SQL 2005 the SSIS service won't start. Now I've read a few things on this and the fix I've found is to change the following reg key:

  [HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\Software Publishing]

  "State"=dword:00023e00

  I've tested this and it does indeed fix the problem but can anyone tell me what this actually does? Is this the recommended solution or is there a better way than this reg hack?

  Here's a hotfix that takes care of this problem. I've installed it and it does work.
