I have a very large data file set that routinely comes in for multiple clients I am managing. The header information remains static across all feeds/customers under this same umbrella as we have a standard format/scheme for the feed in question. All databases in question are also on the same server.
That said, I have limited experience with SSIS. What I've done in the past is gone the manual route for all of the databases that need insertion. The headers are the same, the only thing I'm pointing differently is the respective databases and source files.
Is there a way I can save all of the parameters and just need to change the respective databases and source file names and not have to fill in anything else (continually having to remap these files into the database given they are the same and go to the same table just in different databases) by saving the SSIS package in some manner? Thanks!
