SSIS Package upgradation Issue

    when running 2005 package in 2008 , its throwing an error"An error Ocurred while adding the managed SSIS type library to the script host.Verify that the DTS 2000 runtime is installed.

    My package has an ActiveX script task embedded in it.

    Can anybody help?

    Hi Gerbera,

    The following MSDN article may contain the answers you are looking for: Execute DTS 2000 Package Task

    It seems you have to install the 2008 DTS runtime, the article have a link to place where you can download the required DTS runtime for SSIS 2008.
