has been working previously, then suddenly getting this unexpected termination.
running SQL server 2019

You're not providing enough information for anybody to help. What is the error message? What is the package doing?

the package is extracting data from SQL Server database table to MS access files. all on the same sql server.
when i execute the catalog, it works fine. all tasks completed. succeeded. no errors.
when i execute from the agent job, it appears sometimes all tasks completed, while other times it stops at certain task. it says unexpected termination with either all tasks completed or some tasks completed.

I also noticed the package when i execute from the agent errors out around 46 seconds. the normal execution time completion is 177 seconds. what could it be?
is there another way to automate the execution of SSIS package from the catalog beside using the job agent?

The error message you posted seems to be from the SQL Agent logs. You'll get more/better information from the "All Messages" report in the SSIS catalog for a specific execution that failed. Post the detailed error message from that report, please.
