SSIS package ran successful but failed to run as a job

    I created a SSIS package to copy a file from server A to server B.

    When I ran it in SSIS, it ran successful.

    Then I created a job to run it, it said it did not recognize the connection to server A.

    Does anyone know why? Is this a permission issue?

    Given what you are describing I would start with permissions, since that is about the most common problem.

    Looks like issue with credentials. I created a step by step doc that may help not sure if it will... please find attached is the doc. not sure if it will help but thought i will share it...
