I am in the process of migration data from an old, now unsupported application, into a new shiny SQL Database.
My issue is around a Data Task Lookup in an SSIS package.
It does pass with a green tick in the top right-hand corner, but putting a Data Viewer just after shows that the new column has not been added.

Can you post a screenshot showing how you have configured the lookup task?

Your lookup just isn't bringing back any results. It may be mis-configured (as Phil suggests), or it just doesn't work the way you thought it would, and thus you need to do it somewhat differently. If you can either post a picture of how you have it configured, or describe it in considerable detail, it will greatly improve your chances at getting help.

Could you elaborate please ? any steps or hints ?
