Hello Friends,
I need to create an SSIS package to import the data from Access to SQL but not sure how to do it in Business Intelligence Studio however I can do it through Import\export in SQL but I want to create this package in Business intelligence studio since I’ll be creating this package in Dev and later on I will be implementing this into Production and if I create this into Business intelligence studio, I’ll have an option to specify the Connection configuration option as an XML file and later when I execute this package in production I can simply change the xml file and run my package without any issue. Please help as I don’t see any option in SSIS project to import data from Access file but I see all other option i.e. Flat file , excel file but not the Access… Please help

I think you are saying that you have successfully done the import using the wizard. have you tried saving the package created by the wizard and opening in BIDS so that you can see how the connection manager was configured?
