    Hi All,

    Besides Apex, TortoiseSVN, Source Safe and Team Foundation, does anyone know any good tool that will show package differences in detail?

    Any help would be appreciated,

    thank you. I was hoping for a tool that does not depend on visual sourcesafe or Team foundation, but we have to go that route anyway... thanks..

    Since the dtsx is an xml file, try good old WinDiff. It's quite likely to be on your pc anyway.

    Works with anything that can be opened as text and is also great for comparing database structures - just script the databases with the same options and WinDiff compare the two scripts.

    Beyond Compare does the job, we wanted to compare script task component within SSIS and this tool shows the changes between two packages.
