SSIS Package 1 calling Package 2 (SendMail Task)

    Can I have "Package 1" calling a "Send Mail" task in "Package 2"?

    How can this be done?

    You can use an Execute Package Task to execute another package, but I'm not sure about calling a specific task within another package.

    Thanks, reason I ask is that, I have a number of SSIS packages which use "SendMail" task.

    I wanted on "Master" package which olds all the indervidual send mails task. There they can all use the name SMTP connection, and in the future if the SMTP changes I only have to chage this in one Package, rather then going ino all my 10 packages one by one....
