SSIS FTP task

    Hi Team,

    Our SSIS 2008 r2 server (windows server 2008 r2) is migrated from Korea to Belgium. But our FTP server is still in KR.

    Now when connecting to FTP server via SSIS , we get FTP timeout error, though we are able to connect to ftp server manually.

    Is there any server level settings needed for this. I cannot increase the ftp timeout limit.

    Any pointers on this would be helpful.

    Found this great article which got my issue resolved.

    Set the ftp task to use Passive mode !
