Can anybody advice me how to run the SSIS FTP Task I am not able to recieve the files from the FTP Server. Thanks for the help in advance.

what happens when setting up the connection in ftp connection manager and you click test connection?

Are you running this from debug mode? Are you getting any errors?

Hi,
Thanks for the Reply. Yes im running it in a debug mode. I am getting an error Changing Directory to "ftp:------" . 550 CWD cmd failed : EDC51291 No Such Directory Exsist. However the Directory is present there with all the files. I dnt know what is the solution for this can you please advice what should I do ?

When I am testing the Connection. Its showing the Connection Succeed.

Are you ftp'ing directly to that directory and then attempting to change to it again after the connection is established?

Actually I am trying to get the reports from the UNIX server to my local desktop. and im getting an error that the file or folder does not exist.

K then, my question is still valid. Are you establishing a connection to the root or to that directory first? Then are you trying to change directories to a subfolder after initial connection is established?

I am trying to establish a connection to the directory first and then trying to get the files and there are no sub folders from which I am trying to extract the data files from.

So you establish an ftp connection to the directory first. You do not try to change directory whatsoever, and you get an error message upon attempting to transfer files that the directory is invalid.
That message is related to an invalid path once you have established a connection. So either a directory change is being attempted, you are using invalid file paths, or your destination directory is wrong.

Yes I am getting CWD Error it is not able to change the directories. So what I do in case to change the directories and run this FTP Task through SSIS.
