SSIS Execute Process task Hangs

  • Hi All,

I created SSIS package in SSIS 2008 and tested the same from BIDS. It executed successfully.

I deployed and scheduled on SQL Server.

When its triggered for running the package, the Package hangs...and going to sleep mode.

It doesnt give any error/event info to the log file.

The log shows the info abt previous tasks only.

No info abt the processtask that whether "executing" or "failed to execute"..

I have included on Pre execute, On progress and post exection...no info abt any of these three.

    Plz help me ASAP...

    Thanks in Advance

    What does the package do?

If you put a script task as the very first task in the script (and write a log file / database entry) at least you will be able to tell whether the package begins to execute.

  • Thanks for response.

    Yes...

The first is Execute SQL task and next is SCript task...Then after this Process task will execute the batch file.

When i execute it by double clicking it prompt me allow to run the command like Installing the software, we will get some untrusted publisher like that...

    Awaiting Ur response...
