My ssis packages run successfully in my DEV machine, either thorugh job or through BIDS.
When i run same SSIS packlages in my TEST machine through job I get this error...............
Microsoft (R) SQL Server Execute Package Utility Version 9.00.3042.00 for 32-bit Copyright (C) Microsoft Corp 1984-2005. All rights reserved. Started: 9:05:23 AM Error: 2008-09-15 09:05:41.52 Code: 0xC0012024 Source: Delete all contents in the DART dir Description: The task "Delete all contents in the DART dir" cannot run on this edition of Integration Services. It requires a higher level edition. End Error DTExec: The package execution returned DTSER_FAILURE (1). Started: 9:05:23 AM Finished: 9:05:41 AM Elapsed: 17.641 seconds. The package execution failed. The step failed.
I found another simple twist too....
the package that fails on the very first task is script task whcih is just checking the presence of file "emptyfile" in the folder...
the package that fails in the middle in the dataflow is using OLEDB source , oledb Command, rowcount, and flat file destination that write to a folder........
SO do anyone thing it might a issue with flat file read, write permission in the folder on the box....But the error message is clear...........I am confused????
My DBA told me to use "DoNotSaveSensitiveData" option, it still failed in TEST, but works in DEV machine....

You do not have the appropriate edition of integration services installed. File system tasks and pretty basic and covered by the standard edition of SSIS, but it must be installed, not just the MSSQL database engine.

THNAKS Michael.....I know teh message si claer enough....but How can I convience my DBA who has never seen S of SSIS ( i am not in a mood to insult him)..........
How can we find out that what editions of SSIS we have on the box?.........
Thanks

According to my DBA, now they wants to import ssis packages to msdb (initially it was in file system). Also, they want to do table config rather than dtsconfig file...
and the WTC (test machine) doesn't have BIDS installed..............
If the same SSIS works in my DEV machine and also in my own personal laptop.........why they are giving me so hard time to change all this again......instead of installing INtegartion Services with appropriate editions in the box itself for future ease also..........
Thanks
