Morning,
I am running SQL Enterprise 2008 64 bit on Windows Server 2008 R2. Have created a new SSIS package and also upgraded a SQL 2005 package (from another server). Both work when run manually. So far so good!
Am now trying to deploy, in order to schedule as Jobs. In both cases I get the following error.
Could not create the Directory "C:\program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Packages\packageName" is denied.
Access to path (as above) is denied (mscorlib)
I also have an Instance ofSQL 2005 on the server. Notice that the path in the error message is sql 90 but assume that this is because BIDS is only 32 bit!
Unhappy about playing with permissionns on SQL files, unless I really know what I am doing. Small problem becomes a major incident! 🙁
Not much, so far, on Google. So, any pointers mostwelcome. Thank you
Colin

A change of folder permissions AND a server reboot has resolved the issue.
Now error "Error loading from XML" "occues when CPackage::LoadFROMXML fails"
