SSIS Control Flow Size

  • I hope someone can help.

When I open one of my SSIS packages in Visual Studio, the control flow screen alway open on the bottom right of the "canvas", and this is much bigger that the space taken up by the items in the control flow. Its a minor issue really.... but an annoying one.

I have opened the dtsx file in notepad, to try to find a setting value for this, but no joy.

    Has anyone seen this behaviour?

I have seen this behaviour. A lot 🙂

And you're not the first to ask this question in these forums.

I have to dissapoint you: you cannot fix it.

A colleague of mine once found some coordinates in the dtsx file, but even after changing them SSIS opened the control flow stubbornly at the wrong place.

It annoys me from time to time, but I've learned to live with it 🙂

Need an answer? No, you need a question

  • Oh well... I too have learned to live with it, and will continue to do so.

Like I said.... it is no more than a slight annoyance.

    Thanks for the reply!
