Need download links for a OLEDB provider that i can use to connect to DB2 using SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition.
My problem is Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 does not work with standard edition of SQL Server 2008.
If IBM DB2 Provider can be downloaded for free and would work on SQL Standard Edition do let me know. Please post download links and set up procedure to get this working. Appreciate any help.

I believe that if you install the IBM DB2 Client on the machine(s) that you a using SSIS on it installs the driver.

What version of DB2 are you using?
I performed several goggle searches the closest that got was links to the IBM DB2 Client Install.
If you want the Oracle DB2 OLDB Provider you must install the Oracle Client.
Have you tried goggle?

You should try installing the Client. Perhaps the application Development Client
That should include the Driver that you are looking for.
This may be trial and error. You may want to try it.

I believe the software is called DB2 Connect, and it aint free..

Depending on the size of your company you might already be licensed for this.
I used to use a package by HIT Software that worked really well, not cheap..

As far as free, other than the MS one that is limited to Enterprise Edition, I think you are screwed.
Sorry man..

You need to download IBM Data Server Runtime Client. Try downloading from here.
