SSIS compatible with VS 2008?

    Hi there,

    Is SSIS 2005 compatible with VS 2008?? I tried to create a package in VS 2008 but it does not work. When I add using statement

    "using Microsft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime", it shows a warning that "The type or namespace name "Dts" does not exist" .

    I figured it out. SSIS 2005 packages can only be created and edited with VS 2005. There is no plan to ever support editing SSIS 2005 packages with VS 2008. Sql server 2008 uses VS 2008 environment.
