I uninstalled the 32-bit version (Sql Server 2005 Standard) but during install of the 64-bit trial version I got an error that the integration services (SSIS) could not install because the 32-bit version of COM+ was already registered and you can't have both. Did anybody encounter same issue and what to do? Thanks

Two questions:
1. When you installed the 64 bit SSIS, was your setup completely blocked, or did you just get a message box to dismiss before which setup completed without further incident?
2. Were you installing from the setup ui, or were you using command line to run the msi's?
I am familiar with cases where the msmq task fails to register in some 32/64 bit situations, but not with a situation where setup is blocked completely.
