    In SSIS,How to create a template package with variables and using it for all the dimension packages. so kindly provide me an example of this type with the location and accessing those common templates .

    What I did, from the SQL ToolBox book, for template is, create an actual package with all standard connection and component generic to my development and save it to sql server. Now in BIDS when I add a package i select add existing package and select SQL server as source and then rename it. I hope that does the trick for you too.
