SSIS 2014 - CDC 2008R2 compatibility

    Quick Q.

    Setting up change data capture soon for BI ETL.

    Target system is SQL 2014 running SSIS so will have CDC Source and CDC Splitter task set up.

    These will point to source dB running 2008R2 with CDC set up in dB and particular tables.

    Is the SSIS CDC task in 2014 compatible with source dB running CDC on 2008R2?

    oh where are all the SSIS experts, or perhaps CDC experts? ... or both 🙂
