SSIS 2012 pull from DB2

    hi

    I'm stuck in driver hell

    I want to pull data from DB2 into SQL server using SSIS 2012 (Windows 7)

    If I try to download DB2OLEDBV4 and run it, it gives an error

    "Product: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 Version 4.0 -- Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2 requires the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or later version. Ensure that this requirement is fulfilled before installing Microsoft OLE DB Provider for DB2."

    So, that's strange

    I could maybe go a non-Microsoft driver, although I haven't had any luck there

    Any ideas are welcome

    Is the drivers 32 bit? Maybe the runtime needs to be 32 bit?

    solved it

    there is a newer version (content created 29/8/12) of DB2OLEDBV4 kicking around that works

    This new version of Microsoft® OLEDB Provider for DB2 v4.0 for Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008R2 and 2012 (DB2OLEDBV4)

    Belongs to Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 SP1 Feature Pack released on 1/9/2013
