Hello all,
I am using Deploy Tool in VS (Project Deployment Model) to deploy my project to SSIS Catalog. I would expect to see an option to choose which packages I want to deploy to the server, but I don't. Am I missing something?
This is what I'm doing right now:
1) Excluding the unwanted packages from the project
2) Deploy Project
3) Include them back before checking them back in to my Source Safe.
Is there a better way to do it?
Thanks!

I was coming in here to ask this exact same question, so I'm surprised your question from last year has no answers. So I'll reply to it which hopefully will bubble it back to the top 🙂

Hi Sam,
We chose not to use the project model in our projects. We just upgraded from 2005 to 2012 and kept package model.
We didn't see any real advantage of using project model so far.
I wish you the best,
Vera.

No. It is not possible. With project deployment model, you can only deploy the entire project. As the name suggests it.

Integrated logging in SSISDB? Easier automation with TSQL and powershell?
Parameters combined with execute package tasks, which allow you to ditch the clunky parent configuration?
