If you are using SSDT 2017 and SSIS, you may be advised not to upgrade to 15.8 yet. There is a bug in this release which prevents the deployment of SSIS projects to SSISDB. The following dialog appears when you attempt deployment.
The issue was reported here and there is a workaround in the comments.

Thank you, but late for me 🙂 I've just lost a day trying to fight that. Why MS are still keeping this broken release online... I've reverted to uploading the packages locally on the server, where there is older version installed.
Can you please post here when corrected version is released.

It gets worse. If you try to create a script task in 15.8, it will tell you when you click on OK that you have errors in it, even when you do not. I have not found a way round this (other than to use SSDT 2015).
