  I just got the green light to shop for a new box.

  We use 2014 BI edition and will get the 128GB of Memory.

  This is an OLAP environment so my question is what is better to have for disks?

  SSD or SAS?

  Any insight / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  This depends greatly on your I/O and very much becomes a question of cost vs. performance. Do you have any kind of numbers around that?
