Hi ,
We have several reports that run very slow the first time after the cube is processed. All the subsequent runs are quicker. I am planning to warm up the cache for the MDX queries. Most of the MDX queries have parameters based on the user who logs in etc. Instead of warming the cache for queries for each account or each user, is there a more automated way of doing this. Because if I start warming the cache for each user for multiple reports and all the MDX queries, I might have to copy a large number of queries.
Is proactive caching an answer to this? Please suggest,

Pro-active caching has not really something to do with cache warming.
It is used when your SSAS cube uses ROLAP instead of MOLAP but you want some performance boost.
