SSAS 2008 Partitions

  Hi All

  I am in the middle of fine tuning a new cube that I have just built, I have decided to split the cube into monthly partitions to try and improve performance. So far I have created partitions for the last 12 months up to now.

  My question is when Feb 2010 comes around, how do I automatically create that partition in the cube without having to do it manually. DO I need to write an SSIS package. Any pointers in the right direction are welcome.

  Hi Mike,

  Recently I have implemented similar thing with SSAS 2005, using the blog below. Hope this helps
