I didn't have any problems installing SS2k. But SS2k5 is a different story. So far not too bad.
I have a picture of the error message attached to this post.
It says: "SQL Server Setup failed to obtain system account information for the ASPNET account. To proceed, reinstall the .NET Framework, and then run SQL Server Setup again."
Do I need to uninstall Visual Studio 2008? and then reinstall it? Can i uninstall the Framework without uninstalling VS2008?

I don't see any image attached :D. You can install in the .NET Framework without uninstalling VS2008. You probably have the framework installed but not registered correctly with IIS. You can run aspnet_regiis. Check out this article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/k6h9cz8h(VS.80).aspx

you could also run a repair of the .NET framework via add\remove programs
