I apologize in advance if this is not the correct place for this post, this seemed like the most appropriate place. We recently installed SQL Server 2008 and SQL Reporting Services on Server 2008. The installation of both were successful, however when I go into IIS to look at the virtual directories that should have been created by srs there is nothing there. The strange thing is that I can still access srs from other machines using http://server/reports and http://server/reportserver . Everything apprears to be configured properly, we just don't have any virtual directories created in IIS, if anyone could shed any light on this subject I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

I need to know what operating system because Vista home basic and Vista home premiun cannot use IIS 7 development you have to use the file system for SSRS because SSRS 2008 does not require IIS.
Kind regards,

In SQL Server 2008 SSRS default installation is called native and it does not use IIS so if you need to use IIS then you may have to make changes to your installation. So here are two links with the docs that may help, post again if you still need help.
