Major Responsibilities:
This is a Sr. SQA position within Symantec's Managed Security Services development team. The primary focus of this position will be on designing, developing, and executing test cases specific to SQL Server 2000 databases. The responsibilities for this position include testing stored procedures; performance tuning, testing for replication, transaction, or locking issues. Secondary responsibilities include supporting additional testing efforts, as required.
Position Requirements and Background:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. A strong candidate must have experience testing SQL Server 2000 databases, understand stored procedure development and testing, performance tuning, replication issues, locking issues, scalability, and other database related testing issues.
