SQLServers list all in a single domain

    Under what circumstances will a SQLserver/(cluster also) will not be recognised/stays invisible to the process/tool I run within a single domain?
    Ex:Any powershell code or MAP tool I use to identify the list of SQL servers/instances.

    It rather depends on how your tool is attempting to list SQL servers. Often they attempt to connect to the SQL Server Browser service, which means it needs to be running and accessible via any firewalls etc.
