Hi Steve,
as always thanks for your great job.
I like the changes to this web.
I noticed that in new format
in ALL my articles code is not fully seen .
You could copy the code but you could not see
the end of lines.
Thanks
Regards

Great job Steve. Overall look is good and new format is more flexible than before but must say that searching scripts was more good in previous version. It should be all on one page compared now we have to search each page, which is time consuming.
Can you put scripts in same format as old one?

YES, searching scripts / forums / articles was easier before...
Otherwise, I really like it!

Another vote for being able to search specific content areas, such as scripts.
Search results from /columnists and /newsletter return dead links:
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/bknight/usersqlserver2005features.asp
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/newsletter/view_newsletter.asp?id=1048
It would also be helpful to have a "Report a problem" link on the menu bar at the left side of the page (under Write for us).
Thanks for all the hard work!

I'll see about the searching.
We're working on redirects now.

Steve : I just tried sending you a PM and it said you've exceeded your limit. I had a question about the new site. I need to change my email address to my new work address. Is there any way to do that?
thanks,
Kevin

Hey Steve -
I have been working in this all day, and I realized that when I am in a forum, it states the time at the bottom,
"All times are GMT -6:00, Time now is 6:21am", and it was actually 1:21 pm. I set the option in my profile to Central time, as that is where I am located...:w00t:
Did I screw up a setting somewhere?

Nice thing, these upgrades, it's a pitty you didn't migrate the forum-reply-counters. So all of a sudden I'm back to 3.:doze:

Steve,
The look n feel is really nice.
One thing which is missing is the link to the author page. Also, there used to be a link which showed the list of all columnists with number of articles and in-turn was pointing to the page which displayed all the articles of a particular columnist.
Any reason for removing it... or is it accessible from some page ???
Vasant.

I also noticed that even though there is a Delete button for posts, you can't delete them. I posted something that wasn't really in the optimal forum and decided to move it, now I can't get rid of the original!
Also, it'd be nice if you could set a preference that you'll monitor threads that you post to via email, I'm going to have a devil of a time remembering that combo box beneath the post button.
And finally, when you edit a post, it puts an extra two blank lines between paragraphs that you have to delete.

Hi Steve,
None of the RSS feeds of the blogs.SQLServerCental.com website work.
The general scripts for the complete RSS or per group.
http://blogs.sqlservercentral.com/MainFeed.aspx
http://blogs.sqlservercentral.com/Opml.aspx
and also the feeds for each individual blogs, such as yours.
http://blogs.sqlservercentral.com/steve_jones/rss.aspx
http://blogs.sqlservercentral.com/steve_jones/atom.aspx
http://blogs.sqlservercentral.com/steve_jones/rsscomments.aspx
They all cause a 404 error (not found). Cheers and Happy New Year!
