Hi,
We have a snapshot replication setup on SQL 2000 which has been
running fine for sometime. Yesterday the infrastructure team
installed F-Secure antivirus on the server (Windows Server 2003 std)
and now the whole mechanism is broken.
We have got rid of F-Secure completely and rebooted the server but the
the snapshot agent still fails with a source of SQLSERVERAGENT and an
eventid of 203.
There's not much I can see on the net regardign this error.
All replication happens on this server, i.e Distributor, publishers
and subscribers.
Anyone have any thoughts on what could be wrong?
Thanks in advance
Dave.

Hi,
It can be that SQL agent services is not working / not good restarted.
You told that SQL-server has to be restarted, then you have also to restart SQL agent services, but I don't know if this is done / checked? It's important SQL agent services is good working, else the jobs for replication services can not run either.
regards,
RC
