  Hi i need to install sql server 2000 express edition and sqlserver 2005 dev edition in one of our user

  which one i need to install first (2000 or 2005) default or named instance

  while installation i need to change the path on different drive

  pls suggest me to what are the services need to install in

  like database engine, ssrs,ssis,ssas, etc...

  is there any rule to install in the default drive

  c:drive(default)

  and another drives in

  pls suggest me for further action

  Are you sure you have version numbers correct?

  SQL 2005 Express installs into its own instance anyway.

  Why do you need to install SQL 2000? You can install 2005 Developer edition and set the compatibility level to 80.
