SqlServer 6.5 to 2005 migration

  Hi all,

  I got a SqlServer 6.5 that i want to migrate to SqlSever2005.

  Does someone knows if is possible to migrate directly with an one-step operation without encountering compatibility or any other types of problems?

  Unfortunately you cannot migrate directly from 6.5 to 2005. You'd have to migrate to SQL Server 7 or 2000 and then migrate to SQL Server 2005. Check out this link for some useful information on upgrading to 2005. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc161024.aspx
