Hi Team,
I have installed named instancesSQL Server 2016 enterprise edition on two node cluster, I had SQL Server agent issue so added alias in the properties then able to bring agent online, now I am not able to see error log from SSMS and getting below message.
Msg 22004, Level 16, State 1, Line 0
Failed to open loopback connection. Please see event log for more information.
Msg 22004, Level 16, State 1, Line 0
Error log location not found.

It says the error log location can't be found. Take a look at the settings, see if it's able to map that.

Raised request to Microsoft after their conclusion this is bug and they are releasing CU 1 to resolve the issue, that is release pending on July, once the CU will apply and validate the issue.
I will give you update once we apply the patch.
