  Hi All,

  Currently, one of our New DB Server installed with SQLServer 2008 R2(X64) Enterprise Evaluation (Trail) Edition.

  Can we apply SQLServer 2012(X64) Standard Edition licence on this.

  Please advise...it's bit urgent.

  No, you cannot use a Standard licence for a Enterprise server.

  You could install SQL 2012 Standard, and uninstall SQL 2008 Enterprise Trial
