Dear All,
Can someone please advise on this.
I have configured database mail in SQLServer 2008 R2 Enterprise Evaluation but unfortunately, couldn't receive any mails due to the below errors.
------------------------------------------------------
Error 1 :The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 2 (2011-07-21T04:57:04). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Failure sending mail.).
Error 2:xception Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.SqlIMail.Server.Common.BaseException
Message: Could not retrieve item from the queue. Reason: the list of accounts which could send this mail is empty (probably due to the use of invalid profile).
Data: System.Collections.ListDictionaryInternal
TargetSite: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.SqlIMail.Server.Controller.ICommand CreateSendMailCommand(Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.SqlIMail.Server.DataAccess.DBSession)
HelpLink: NULL
Source: DatabaseMailEngine
StackTrace Information
===================
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.SqlIMail.Server.Controller.CommandFactory.CreateSendMailCommand(DBSession dbSession)
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.SqlIMail.Server.Controller.CommandRunner.Run(DBSession db)
at Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.SqlIMail.IMailProcess.ThreadCallBack.MailOperation(Object o)
-------------------------------------------------------
When I was running the below queries,
select * from sysmail_unsentitems - sent_status - output = retrying
select * from sysmail_faileditems - sent_status - output = failed
select * from sysmail_mailitems - sent_status - output = 2 or 3
But this Profile was working fine in different server - SQLServer 2005 standard Edition.
Thanks and Regards,
Ravi.
