Hi All,
I just try to connect the sqlserver 2008 from one server to other server (sqlserver 2008) instance.. But its not able to connect it.
It shows the below error message.
"Time out Expired. The Time out period elapsed prior to completion of
the operation or the server is not responding.
Afterwards i found the root cause of the error.
Explantion :
The SqlServer clientconnect to the server. This Error could occur
because the firewall on the server would refused the connection.
User Action:
Make sure that you have configured the firewall on the sqlserver
instance to accept the connections
Then i just turn off the windows firewall on the sqlserver instance.
afterwards accept the connection.
I would appreciate, if anybody suggest me. i will connect to
the other instance with out turn off the firewall settings
I'm eagerly waiting for your reply
Thanks
