Sqlserver 2000 and Outlook 2003

     On other sqlserver 2000 servers I've set up the Alerts without a problem with Outlook 2000 on the server.  I saw in documentation there were certain issues with Outlook 2002 (having to leave the client running)

    On one of the servers, Outlook 2003 is installed. Has anyone seen or read of any issues using Outlook 2003 with SqlServer 2000 for the SQL Agent mail and SQL Mail?

     I'm setting up security alerts. I'm new at this.

    I can't point you to the right direction but i can say one thing that i have also read one or two article in net which pointing that it is better to avoid using outlook 2002 and 2003 with sql 2000.In my opinion it is better to use out look 2000 with sql 2000.
