Hello,
Anyone experience this problem.
I have a cluster server with 2 sql instances.
Our service account is being used to control the sql server and sql agent on both instances.
Our exchange mailbox was moved from one server to another.
One instance the notification is working fine.
The other instance the notification is not working.
I restarted the SQL agents thru cluster administration for both. I did the xp_stopmail and xp_startmail.
I verified that the mail is pointing to the correct exchange server.
I'm receiving this error message when I test the email operator.
Error 22022:SQLServerAgent Error: The SQLServerAgent mail session is not running; check the mail profile and / or the SQLServer Agent service startup account in the SQLServerAgent Properties dialog.
Any ideas?
