SQL2K Cluster aware and AWE aware

  comclust is the command to make MSDTC and SQL to be cluster aware, but if i did not implement this how do I know this was executed prior to installing SQL2000EE? What is the command to make sure that SQL2000 is AWE aware?

  You can run it afterward. To enable AWE, you have to add /PAE to the boot.ini, and then run sp_configure to turn it on within SQL.
