  Hi there

  I have remote SQL server2000 which i access through sql2000 client.

  I tried to check upgrade issues using SQL 2005 Upgrade Advisor installed on my computer.

  But as I tried to enter server name and clicked DETECT button it give me error as "Requested registry access is not allowed.(mscordlib)"

  Could you tell me what are the access rights changes i have to make to access that server through Upgrade Advisor?

  I think you should be a local admin on the SQL 2000 box to run Upgrade Advisor.
